Undergraduate Major in Business Administration

Business administration in Tianjin University is designed to cultivate undergraduates of business administration, masters and doctors of enterprise management, senior talents with fully physical, moral and intellectual development who could engage in management practice work including operation, human resource, marketing, start-up planning, teaching and scientific research work in enterprises and public institutions and government organs. Cultivate students to master basic theory, knowledge, quantitative and qualitative analysis method of business administration, lay good English foundation, make smooth international business communication in foreign language, and be familiar with principles, policies and rules of enterprise management, routines and regulations of international enterprises and economic organizations; cultivate students to possess strong entrepreneurship, start-up passion, healthy body and abilities of devotion to practice and competence of grassroots work; cultivate students to possess full cultural knowledge, outstanding language expression and interpersonal communication, and fundamental knowledge of computer application technology and engineering technology.

Business administration makes the improvement of comprehensive quality and cultivation of perfect character as the major goals of teaching activities, and cultivates students’ entrepreneurship with series courses of opening up companies; strengthen students’ practice with many kinds of practical activities in enterprises; broaden students’ international vision with international exchange; enhance students’ ability to under and integrate into the society; improve students’ physical and mental state with colorful cultural and sports activities.

In 2008, business administration was regarded as special program pilot, and in 2010, it was honored as brand program of higher universities and colleges in Tianjin. Now it has reasonable and strong faculty including 4 famous professors, 13 associate professors, and 3 lecturers. The teachers of business administration are striving to make business administration into internationally and nationally famous program.
