Another Industry-Academia-Research Base of CoME Has Been Set Up!

  On October 28, The College of Management and Economics (CoME) of Tianjin University (TJU) held a meeting on building the industry-academia-research base with Xinjiang Goldwind Sci & Tech Co.,Ltd (Goldwind). Wu Kai, General Manager of Goldwind International Business Unit, Guo Bing-bing, Human Resources Director of Goldwind, Zuo Feng, Minister of Engineering Construction of Goldwind, Huo Bao-feng, Dean of CoME, Xiong Xiong, Deputy Dean of CoME, Liu Jun-ying, Dean of Engineering Management Department, and other relevant persons-in-charge attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Huo Bao-feng.

  Huo Bao-feng welcomed Wu Kai and his delegation, and gave a brief introduction of CoME from the aspects of history, vision and mission, discipline distribution, talent cultivation, international certification, New Business construction.

  Liu Jun-ying introduced the history of Engineering Management major and the integration of personnel training and industry-academia-research.

  Wu Kai introduced the general situation and international business of Goldwind. He mentioned that Goldwind was founded in 1998, witnessed and promoted the wind power industry of China. Goldwind is committed to becoming a global leader in area of clean energy, energy conservation and environmental protection solutions. Wu hoped that the establishment of the base could guide and solve all kinds of key difficulties in the project and contribute to the international engineering capacity in wind power industry.

  Representatives of two sides signed the cooperation agreement on building the industry-academia-research base, and CoME awarded Goldwind the title and nameplate of Industry-Academia-Research Base of CoME of TJU.

  In the future, both sides will promote resource integration through the construction of industry-academia-research base, help enterprises attract and select excellent talents through internship programs to lay a firm foundation for future recruitment, promote the integration of industry demand and university personnel training system, and use the university scientific research resources to advance the development of the company. Universities and enterprises jointly cultivate talents, and both sides are looking forward to mutual development.
