  March 20th

During the outbreak of COVID-19, Lin Li, the Director of the Undergraduate Education Office, faithfully recorded her daily work in the form of a work log. She said: "Every Chinese is driving to overcome the epidemic. I want to do my bit for our country. I'm not a doctor or a nurse, I can't offer direct help to the patients, but I'm willing to do my best to do my job as a teacher.”

Went back to Tianjin in advance to prepare for the beginning of the term

I originally planned to return to Tianjin after February 8th, but I was very disturbed by the thousands of COVID-19 updating data, and I was worried that I would not be able to work at home efficiently. On January 30th, I bought a ticket to return to Tianjin and began 14-day home isolation.

  Prepared for Online Teaching Services

In early February, the Ministry of Education issued a notice on the postponement of school opening, and the school began to arrange the work schedule for online teaching. Tianjin University (hereafter called TJU) established a liaison group for undergraduate teaching during the epidemic. When TJU recruited liaison officers from various colleges, I took the initiative to sign up as a liaison officer of the College of Management and Economics (hereafter called CoME).

Most teachers were new to online teaching and live broadcasts. The conversations of the WeChat group showed that the teachers were anxious and uneasy. Under the guidance of Deputy Dean of CoME Bao-chen Yang, who is responsible for undergraduate education, we selected teachers who were familiar with online teaching in various undergraduate disciplines in time and formed the online technical support team of the CoME with teachers to solve the teachers' various technical consulting. This week, like many undergraduate teaching management teachers at TJU, I worked for a long time every day, because many problems must be resolved before the start of the course. Many teachers' consultation on WeChat was proceeding in day and night, weekdays and weekends.
