On August 8th, the 31-members delegation of Chinese Students and Scholars Association, Cambridge University (CSACU) visited Tianjin University, the Deputy Dean of CoME, Prof. He Zhen and the Deputy Party Secretary, Prof. Shi Liang Xing, the Deputy Secretary of Youth League, Tianjin University, Mrs. Shi Hui and several student representatives attended this communication activity.
Professor He Zhen introduced the development, teaching system and future plans of CoME to the members of delegation, Mrs. Shi Hui, the Deputy Secretary of Youth League, Tianjin University extended a warm welcome to the delegation and gave a brief introduction ideas and initiatives of the Youth League in leading growth and success and situation of Youth Innovation entrepreneurship.
In order to strengthen international exchanges and cooperation in human resources and technology, promote overseas students to return to work, entrepreneurship and serve China, give full play to the role of overseas high-level overseas talents, gain complementary advantages, cooperation and win-win with CoME, Professor He Zhen and the Chairman of CSACU, Liu Xiuyun signed a strategic cooperation agreement. This agreement contains staff overseas training, using venture capital funds and mentor resources of CoME on return-home personnel, to provide them a platform for regular academic exchange activities, and share social responsibilities such as philanthropic actions and practical activities.
Subsequently, student representatives introduced the brand lecture of Tianjin University, Peiyang Forum, the construction of student associations as well as the social practice activities of “Feng Zhi Xin Yu” practice team of CoME.
Finally, the deputy party secretary of CoME, Prof. Shi Liangxing presented a souvenir to the delegation representatives, and the members of delegation also expressed their good wishes on the upcoming celebration of the 120th anniversary of Tianjin University. This activity came to an end in a friendly and warm atmosphere.
The Chinese Students and Scholars Association, Cambridge University (CSACU) has more than 1,000 members, which is one of the largest Chinese communities in Cambridge, UK and one of the oldest and most influential nonprofit Chinese communities , it successfully held many influential activities.
