Professor Zhang Wei was elected as the Chairman of Chinese Society for Management Modernization

　　From November 6th to 8th, 2015, the Tenth Chinese Academy of Management Annual Meeting was held in HeFei University of Technology. Thousands of experts and student representatives from all over this country in management academia and industry gathered in Hefei to discuss issues of industrial transformation and management innovation under the Internet era.

　　In total, seven teachers and students from CoME attended this meeting. On this annual meeting, Professor Zhang Wei, Dean of CoME, was elected as the chairman of Chinese Society for Management Modernization, and invited to attend the Dean forum in the title of "Construction of management discipline and personnel training in Internet era", who is among the deans of college of management from five universities, namely, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Dalian University of Technology and the Harbin Institute of Technology.

　　The Chinese Academy of Management Annual Meeting is the largest and highest-level comprehensive academic conference in field of management, co-sponsored by the Chinese Society for Management Modernization and Fudan Management Science Award Foundation.

　　This meeting aims at strengthening cooperation and communication in the management field, promoting the research development of Chinese management science and enhancing the level of Chinese management practices. Keynote speakers in the previous meetings include Nobel Prize winners, senior government leaders, prominent scholars and senior managers, their reports have a significant impact on the promotion of development of Chinese academic management and management practices. College of Management and Economics, Tianjin University had successfully hosted the Seventh Chinese Academy of Management Annual Meeting (Fudan Management Award Presentation Ceremony) in 2012. Former State Council Vice-Premier Li Lanqing, Former vice chairman of National People's Congress Cheng Siwei, Former CPPCC Vice Chairman Xu Kuangdi and other leaders attended the meeting.
