Professor Zhang Zhongxiang was invited to serve as Nominator of Global Energy Price

　　At the invitation of the review committee of Global Energy Price, Distinguished University Professor of CoME, Tianjin University, Prof. Zhang Zhongxiang was invited to serve as its nominator.

　　The Global Energy Price awarded annually, was established by Russia since 2003. It specially award to the people who achieve outstanding achievements in energy research and technology. Every year, it is issued by the President of Russia in person at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

　　The bonus of the 2015 Global Energy Award is 3.3 billion rubles ($ 1.2 million). So far, a total of 33 scientists from10 countries, the United States, Germany, France, Japan, Russia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Canada and Sweden obtained this award.

　　According to the award review committee, nominators of the "Energy Globe Award" include laureates of Nobel Prize in Physics or Chemistry, international award winners of Kyoto Prize, Max Planck, Balzan Prize, Zayed Future Energy Prize, International Energy Globe Awards, Goldman Environmental Prize and UNEP Sasakawa Prize and world-renowned scientists specially invited by relevant ministries of Russian government and the review committee of this reward.
