COME Passed China High-quality MBA Education Accreditation

　　On December 3, 2015, the committee meeting of China High - quality MBA Education Accreditation was held at Fudan University in Shanghai. It discussed and approved the results of MBA education accreditation of College of Management and Economics, Tianjin University; and the accreditation is valid for five years. So far, China has eleven units passed the China High-quality MBA Education Accreditation.

　　On November 10th and 11th, 2015, expert panel of China High-quality MBA Education Accreditation conducted an on-site assessment of CoME, Tianjin University. Assessment team experts include former president of School of Management, Sun Yat-sen University, Professor Li Xinchun (Leader), Vice President of Taiwan's Fu Jen Catholic University, Professor Li Tianxing, Vice Dean of College of Management, Fudan University, Professor Yin Zhiwen, as well as judge from business industry, Xu Jianguo, former chairman of Shanghai Electric Group. As observers, Director of the Assessment Department, Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center, Mr. Lin Mengquan and other experts participated in all aspects of this on-site assessment. Party secretary of Tianjin University, Liu Jianping, Vice Director of Graduate School, Zhao Meirong, and Deputy Director of Finance Department, Miao Zhiyong, Dean of CoME, Zhang Wei and party secretary of CoME, Li Lianzhong and other leaders of Tianjin University attended the assessment discussion.

　　During the on-site assessment, the Experts Group and leaders from CoME and TJU, key staff members of the Steering Committee of MBA education, MBA and EMBA programs, leader of teachers’ Management Department, heads of other supporting departments, student representatives of MBA and EMBA, employers' representatives, alumni and teacher representatives carried out a dozen discussions , they also visited the Finance Lab, Industrial Engineering and logistics Lab, Peiyang decision Theater, MBA / EMBA specialized rooms and other hardware facilities, investigated and evaluated the MBA and EMBA programs work of CoME. After investigation, Experts Group fully affirmed the following aspects, such as the strong support from CoME, interdisciplinary research platform, continuous improvement of quality assurance system and excellent cooperation between school and enterprises. At the same time, the Group also gives valuable suggestions to the future development of CoME and further improves and further carries out the work of internationalization, system integration of dominant disciplines in TJU, strengthen the brand building of CoME and the humanities education.

　　China High-quality MBA Education Accreditation criteria include five aspects, mission and strategy, program training quality, innovation and features, resources and configuration, organizational and administrative capacity. As the first domestic MBA Education Accreditation, China High-quality MBA Education Accreditation learns the main ideas, standards and concepts from several major international authoritative accreditation organizations; at the same time, it is more suitable for China's national conditions and the requirements of economic development, which emphasizes the innovation of education and supervision, college's mission and wizard and focuses on the accreditation process undertaken by the college provided MBA programs to improve its core competitiveness.

　　Prior to the adoption of CoME, Tianjin University, nine China universities (School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiaotong University, School of Economics and Management, Fudan University, School of Economics and Management, Tongji University, Business School, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Business School, East China University of Technology, Business School, Nankai University, School of Management, Zhejiang University and Business School, Sichuan University) has passed the accreditation from China High-quality MBA Education Accreditation.
