Zhang Zhongxiang: Global Energy Internet, System Need to Follow Up

　　China can build a global energy internet as a starting point, and proposes to establish relevant cooperation organizations, and the formation of a programmatic document is similar to the Global Energy Charter as soon as possible, to strengthen political mutual trust between countries, so that regional energy cooperation provide an institutional guarantee crossing institutional barriers for building a global energy internet.

　　On Sept. 26th, 2015, President Xi Jinping gave an important speech at the United Nations Development Summit titled in "Seeking for Common Win-win Cooperation, Being Sustainable Development Partners", for the first time, it is clearly stated, "China proposes to build a global energy Internet to explore and promote clean and green ways to meet global demand for electricity.” Objective to construct a global energy Internet is to meet the global demand for electricity and the source is clean energy, which requires a large power grid to transmit. Of course, the global Internet to build energy cannot be achieved in a second, it requires a process, from the domestic connection then to countries connection and finally to the intercontinental connection.

　　Currently, the world has been formed three large interconnecting grids, North America, Europe and Russia - Baltic. European super grid, Northeast Asia interconnecting grid, North Africa to Europe Transmission "Desert Plan" and other regional power interconnecting grid gain more attention. Regional power grid will become an important part of the global energy grid, and from the process of their promotion
